SEAFORD — Egg McMuffins and Big Macs are now being served at Seaford’s longtime Golden Arches landmark.

The brand new Seaford McDonald’s restaurant recently opened, following four-plus months of construction from the ground up. The old McDonald’s closed and was demolished in early February.

The new restaurant, which is nestled at the familiar corner-spot at U.S. 13 southbound and Norman Eskridge Highway (Del. 20), is one of 18 McDonald’s franchises in Delaware and Maryland owned by Mike Meoli of the Meoli Companies.

It will accentuate McDonald’s Experience of the Future redesign, featuring modernization and upgrades that have been incorporated at Mr. Meoli’s other restaurants, including Bridgeville and Georgetown.

Included in the modernization are kiosks and table service.
