Jury trials remain suspended until February, courts decide

Delaware courts will keep jury trials on hold for another month, officials said Wednesday.

Chief Justice Collins J. Seitz, Jr. signed an order this week extending the Judicial Emergency to Feb. 3.

The order keeps Delaware courts in Phase 2 of reopening, with jury trials still on hold. This is the 10th 30-day extension of the emergency order since the pandemic began.
