Beer on Ice offers tastings, sports March 19

HARRINGTON — The Centre Ice Rink at The Delaware State Fair and Fordham & Dominion Breweries will host the first “Beer on Ice – Craft Beer Tasting” at the Centre Ice Rink on March 19 from 2 to 6 p.m.

Ticket prices range from $15 to $50. Along with beer tasting, it will also offer patrons a chance to experience curling, as well as broom ball and shots on goal against a live goalie.

The craft beer tasting will feature many of the top Fordham & Dominion brews including Gypsy Lager, Copperhead, Morning Glory, Oak Barrel Stout, Candi, Hop Lips, Cherry Blossom and more.

Food items will be available for purchase throughout from Bethany Blues, Vanderwendes Ice Cream Truck and more.

General admission tickets are $25 and include a souvenir mug and six tasting tickets. VIP tickets are on sale for $50, which includes early entry (30 minutes prior to the event start), 10 tasting tickets, a souvenir mug and T-shirt.

A designated driver package is offered at $15 and will include food and Dominion soda tickets.

Patrons must be 21 years of age and over.

Tickets can be purchased online at or in person at the Fordham & Dominion Brewing Co. in Dover during tasting hours.

Patrons are reminded to dress appropriately with warm shoes as the tasting and activities will take place on the ice. There will be no public skating offered. The ice will be covered by carpet for safety where tasting tables will be located.
