Comic books, arts in spotlight at Geeks at the Beach

LEWES – Geeks at the Beach, a comic book/arts show, will be held Saturday, July 27 at Cape Henlopen High School on Kings Highway.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., featuring comic book artists, writers, publishers and some of Delaware’s bigger comic bookstores, according to event facilitator Sean Ahrendt.

Crafters and glasswork artists are among the vendors, along with local businesses sponsoring the event.

A food truck will be outside with local food for purchase.

First 50 people in will receive free, exclusive prints by one of the headlined artists.

Tickets are $5 at the door. With a donation to Grass Roots Rescue, admission price will be discounted to $3.

Admission is free for children 12 and under.
