Country’s Turner to perform at Dover Downs April 30

DOVER – Grammy Award-nominee Josh Turner, a multi-platinum MCA Nashville recording artist, will bring his country music style to the Rollins Center ballroom at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino on Saturday, April 30 at 8 p.m.

Tickets will go on sale Tuesday and can be purchased by contacting VIP Services at 800-711-5882. Prices range from $50-$85.

Mr. Turner, a Grand Ole Opry member, has earned multiple Grammy Award, Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music nominations. His debut album, “Long Black Train,” was released in 2003. His latest album, “Punching Bag,” came out in 2012.

Mr. Turner, a native of Hannah, S.C., has recorded hit singles such as “Your Man,” “Why Don’t We Just Dance,” “Firecracker,” “Would You Go With Me,” “All Over Me,” and “Time Is Love,” the most played country song of 2012.

His first book, “Man Stuff: Thoughts on Faith, Family and Fatherhood,” was released in April 2014. Mr. Turner is also the founder of the Josh Turner Scholarship Fund, to assist students interested in pursuing a future in arts and music.
