Firefly one-day tickets go on sale Friday

DOVER — Firefly Music Festival officials announced today that single-day passes will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. with prices increasing Sunday at 11:59 p.m.

The daily lineup of artists was also announced today for the festival at the Woodlands of Dover scheduled for June 14-17.

General admission single-day passes are $109 for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. They will increase to $119 Sunday night. Thursday passes are only available with a four-day purchase.

VIP single-day passes are $269 for Friday, Saturday or Sunday with Thursday VIP passes only available with a four-day purchase.

Four-day general admission passes are currently $329 with VIP weekend passes at $749.

VIP passes enable VIP viewing at all stages, private restrooms, exclusive dining options available for purchase and access to VIP hospitality tents and private cash bars.

Although times were not announced, officials did unveil that Arctic Monkeys will headline Friday night, Eminem Saturday and Kendrick Lamar will close out the festival Sunday.

Canadian electro-funk duo Chromeo will headline the abbreviated opening night on Thursday. Dover hip-hop artist Amillion the Poet will also perform Thursday.

Other highlights of Friday include rapper Logic, Foster the People, Big Gigantic, Cold War Kids and Jimmy Eat World.

Along with Eminem, Saturday will see The Killers, Lil Wayne, EDM DJ Martin Garrix, Portugal, The Man and The Beastie Boys’ Mike D with a DJ set.

Sunday’s final day will also include the electronic duo Odesza, former Delaware State University student SZA, rockers Alt-J and MGMT and indie folk band Lord Huron.
