Halloween events and trick-or-treat times

The following Halloween events will be held today:

TODAY

• TRUNKS FOR TREATS: 6 to 8 p.m., Conley’s United Methodist Church, 33106 Jolyn’s Way, Lewes, DE 19958 (near Rt. 24 and Camp Arrowhead Road). For more information call 645-1881.

• TRUNKS FOR TREATS: 6 to 8 p.m., sponsored by Greenwood United Methodist Church, located at 101 W. Market St., Greenwood. Trunks by individuals and local businesses will be set up in the parking lot to provide children with goodies and treats.

• TRUNK OR TREAT AT FARMINGTON FIRE HALL: 6:30 p.m, 20920 S Dupont Highway, Greenwood. Free hot dogs, chips and hot chocolate to all the kids in costume. Games, costume contest.

• FIRST CHOICE SERVICES TRUNK OR TREAT: 6 to 8 p.m. at First Choice Services, Inc, 33334 Main St., Dagsboro. Free event benefits Code Purple. There will be hot chocolate, a bounce house and the Haunted Hallways as well as many area businesses handing out candy for the kids.

• 3RD ANNUAL TRUNK-OR-TREAT & OPEN HOUSE: 6 to 8 p.m., Hartly Volunteer Fire Company, 2898 Arthursville Road, Hartly. Event will be held in the back parking lot, each participating vehicle/sponsor will be assigned a parking spot so you may open your trunks and decorate them for the kids to receive candy and treats.

• TRUNK N TREAT: 6 to 8 p.m., parking lot of Peace Lutheran Church, 5048 Wheatley’s Pond Rd. (Rt. 300).

• TRUNKS OF TREATS: 6 to 8 p.m., Asbury UMC Smyrna, 20 W. Mt. Vernon St., Smyrna.

If you are interested in decorating a vehicle and passing out candy please contact Wanda Foltz at 223-4192.

• TRUNK OR TREAT IN WYOMING: 6 to 8 p.m., Deep Water Church, 107 Broad St., Wyoming. Trunk or Treat will be set up across from Tre Sorelle in Wyoming to hand out candy. Hosted by Deep Water Church and Tre Sorelle Dolce.

FRIDAY

• TRUNK OR TREAT: 6 to 8 p.m., Sandtown Nazarene Church, 448 Willow Grove Road, Felton. Free community Harvest Celebration and Trunk or Treat event at the church.

SATURDAY

• 2ND ANNUAL TRUNK OR TREAT: 2 p.m., North Smyrna Elementary School, 365 N Main St., Smyrna. Costumes are encouraged. This event will take place in the school parking lot. If you have any questions, send email to northsmyrnapto@gmail.com.

• TRUNK OR TREAT 2019: 5:45 p.m., Providence Creek Academy Charter School, 273 W Duck Creek Road, Clayton. They ask that any family that will not be decorating a trunk, please bring bagged candy to donate to the supply. This event is free and open to anyone who would like to participate.

• FELTON: Today, costume contest at 5:30 p.m., trick or treating at 6 to 8 p.m.

• FRANKFORD: Today, 6 to 8 p.m., for children ages 12 and under

• GREENWOOD: Today, 6 to 8 p.m.

• HARRINGTON: Saturday, 6 to 8 p.m., for children ages 12 and under

• LAUREL: Saturday, 6 to 8 p.m., for children ages 12 and under

• LEWES: Today, 6 to 8 p.m., ages 13 and under

• MIDDLETOWN: Today, 4 to 8 p.m.

• MILFORD: Today, 6 to 8 p.m., for children ages 12 and under

• MILLSBORO: Today, 6 to 8 p.m., for children ages 12 and under in costumes

• MILLVILLE: Friday, 6 to 8 p.m.

• MILTON: Today, 6 to 8 p.m.

• OCEAN VIEW: Today 6 to 8 p.m.

• REHOBOTH BEACH: Today, 5 to 7 p.m. at Tanger Outlets, for children ages 12 and under
