Lots to do at Georgetown Chamber’s Easter Egg Hunt at Mulligan’s Pointe

GEORGETOWN – The Greater Georgetown Chamber of Commerce is again partnering with Mulligan’s Pointe for the return of the popular Easter Egg Hunt for its 19th year.

Scheduled for Saturday, April 20, the family-friendly event will be held at Mulligan’s Pointe, located at 22426 Sussex Pines Road in Georgetown.

The extravaganza will feature games, face painting, a moon bounce and more than 5,000 eggs filled with candy and special prizes.

The cost for admission to all games, face-painting, moon bounce and more will be $5 per child. These activities will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The egg hunt, which is free for all participants, will begin promptly at noon. The egg hunt has three divisions: ages 3-5; ages 6-9; ages 10-12. Organizers remind participants to bring their own basket.

This year’s event will feature the return of the popular “Breakfast with the Bunny” – a buffet breakfast from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with the Easter Bunny available for pictures.

The breakfast will be $9.99 for adults, $4.99 for children age 3-10 and free for children 2 and under. Reservations are highly encouraged and can be made by calling 856-2318 or emailing events@mulliganspointe.com.

Back by popular demand, the Georgetown Chamber will again hold a coloring contest for children ages 3-10. There will be prizes for first, second and third place across different age groups. The contest page will be presented in the Sussex Post in the weeks leading up to the event with additional details attached.

The rush is on in last year’s egg hunt at Mulligan’s Pointe in Georgetown.

“Everyone here at the chamber, along with numerous volunteers and the amazing staff and management at Mulligan’s Pointe have been working extremely hard to create another memorable event for 2019,” said Kevin Thompson, Executive Director for the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce. “We couldn’t do it without the help of our volunteers, and we are delighted to partner with Mulligan’s Pointe again this year. I want to personally invite everyone to Georgetown on April 20 for a fun-filled day of egg hunting, games, and more!”
