Possum Players slate auditions for “Arsenic and Old Lace’

GEORGETOWN – Possum Point Players Community Theater will hold auditions for “Arsenic and Old Lace” Sunday, June 9 and Monday, June 10.

Both auditions are at 6:30 p.m. at Possum Hall, located at 441 Old Laurel Road, Georgetown.

The cast requires 14 actors: seven men, three women and four characters, either men or women.

Auditions are open to all actors. No prior experience required. 

Those auditioning will be asked to present a prepared one-minute monologue and will be asked to read from the script.

Anyone unable to attend the audition, but may have an interest in auditioning or being part of the production crew, should contact director John H. Hulse at 302-245-4147

“Arsenic and Old Lace” is Joseph Kesseling’s classic tale filled with comic mayhem and delicious murder. It is presented through special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc.

The six “Arsenic and Old Lace” performance dates are Sept. 13-15 and Sept. 20-22 at Possum Hall.
