Lights of Life Goes Disco Nights gala set on tap

DOVER — The Lights of Life Goes Disco Nights gala will take place Saturday at Dover Downs Hotel and Casino.

Each year, the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition holds their Lights of Life gala to raise awareness and funds for local breast cancer programs and services in Delaware. This year’s event is a disco-themed celebration and an evening of living and giving for those affected by breast cancer in Delaware.

The evening will begin for VIP guests at 6 p.m. with passed hors-d’oeuvres and a seated dinner, in addition to the entertainment of a silent auction with over 180 items, a disco-inspired photo booth, and music and dancing with DJ Un33K from Spinjocs Entertainment. At 8 p.m., silver ticket guests will arrive in time for dessert and a touching breast cancer survivor fashion show, featuring seven local survivors in ’70s-inspired fashions. To follow will be a live auction with auctioneer Dave Wilson, featuring 11 unique vacations, concerts, Broadway shows, signed Eagles memorabilia, and more.
