Survive & Thrive 5K and Survivor’s Mile in Lewes benefits Cancer Support Community

LEWES — Join Cancer Support Community Delaware for the fourth annual Survive & Thrive 5K and Survivor’s Mile on Saturday, May 19 at Stango Park, 114 E. Third St., Lewes.

Registration is at 9 a.m. and the race/walk is at 10 a.m. Individuals and teams can participate in the 5K walk/run or 1 mile walk in honor of cancer survivors. Walkers and runners will travel along the scenic Breakwater Trail, finishing at Stango Park for the post-race Survivor’s Celebration Festival. The festival includes games, food, kid activities, a K-9 demonstration, vendors, informational tables, and music.

Register to walk/run or create your own team online. Early bird registration is $25 until May 17. Event day registration available for $30. The first 100 registrants receive an event shirt.
