Camden-Wyoming man indicted on felony weapon charge

DOVER — A 19-year-old Camden-Wyoming man was indicted on felony weapon charges Monday in connection with a September incident when police allegedly found a machine gun in a school parking lot after responding to a fight complaint, Superior Court documents said.

Jamar A. Wilson was arrested on Sept. 3 after an AK-47 was found in a vehicle parked at W. Reily Brown Elementary School at 360 Webbs Lane in Dover, the indictment charged. The school was closed at the time of the late night Sunday incident reportedly involving people fighting on the property, police said.

Indicted grand jury charges against Mr. Wilson included possession of a weapon in a school safe zone, possession of a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm by person prohibited, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
