• Blood Bank of Delmarva will not be open Saturday. Donor centers will open at 7 a.m. today. Anyone with a scheduled appointment is encouraged to keep that appointment due to the critical nature of this collection. No appointments are necessary and walk-ins are welcome. • Beginning Italian Genealogy workshop at Delaware Public Archives, scheduled for Saturday, has been canceled. The program will be rescheduled. For more information, contact Tom Summers, (302) 744-5047 or thomas.summers@state.de.us.

• Community cleanup of Rodney Village neighborhood to support the Richards’ family is postponed until Jan. 30. Volunteers should meet at 317 Samuel Paynter Drive in Dover.

• SAT planned for Saturday at Milford High School has been rescheduled for Feb. 6. Any student unable to attend this makeup date should contact College Board by phone or use their College Board Account to change the exam date.

• First State Heritage Park Welcome Center and Galleries closed Saturday and Sunday. Weather permitting, the Welcome Center will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday. The First State Heritage Park Welcome Center and Galleries is located within the Delaware Public Archives building located at 121 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. North, Dover.

• State museums closed Saturday and Sunday. They are: Buena Vista Conference Center in New Castle, New Castle Court House Museum; Johnson Victrola Museum, Old State House and John Dickinson Plantation in Dover; and Zwaanendael Museum in Lewes.

• “Snow Queen” production by the Children’s Theatre is postponed from Saturday and Sunday at the Schwartz Center for the Arts. The show will take place Jan. 30 and 31. Tickets already purchased may be rolled over for use on the same night.

• Cape May-Lewes Ferry will suspend all operations Saturday, but is expected to resume normal operations on Sunday.

• The 5th Dimension featuring Florence LaRue for Saturday canceled but rescheduled for April 29. Tickets will be honored on the rescheduled date. For any refunds, online purchasers will receive instructions through an email notification from Ticket Fly. For refunds for tickets purchased at the casino, please stop by the Gift shop or call (888) 887-5687, ext. 5246 for information. Refund deadline is Jan. 31.

• Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art at Salisbury University closed through Sunday. It will re-open Monday.

• Delaware State University has canceled all weekend classes and university operations at its Dover, Sussex and Wilmington locations Saturday and Sunday. The cancellations include the scheduled Hornet men and women’s basketball games at home against North Carolina Central University. Those games will be rescheduled later.

• Centre Ice Rink in Harrington is closed Saturday but will open at 1 p.m. Sunday (no public skating or parties). Please check if men’s league games will be played. The rink will open at its regular time Monday. Saturday’s Rock the Ice is rescheduled for Jan. 30.
