City of Harrington to hold election for council district one seat

The city of Harrington will hold an election Tuesday, May 7 from noon until 7 p.m. at the Price Community Center located at 103 Dorman St. in Harrington.

The candidates for election represent council district one and include incumbent H. Joseph Gannon, Jr. and Darrell I. Hughes.

Council District three is up for election this year, however only Council Member Micah Parker filed for election.

To vote in this city of Harrington election, voters must be at least 18 years old, a U.S. citizen, a resident of the city of Harrington, a registered voter with he Kent County Department of Elections and live in the district for which they are voting.
