Closure of Millsboro Pond boat ramp, facilities runs July 22 through November

MILLSBORO – Delaware Department of Natural Resource and Environmental Control’s Division of Fish & Wildlife will close the Millsboro Pond boat ramp and its associated facilities for a major reconstruction and expansion project beginning July 22.

Project completion is anticipated by Nov. 30, weather permitting.

DNREC reports Millsboro Pond boat ramp and associated facilities will be closed July 22 possibly through Nov. 30 for a major reconstruction project.

The project will involve total reconstruction of the boat ramp, installation of a new courtesy dock, expansion and repaving of the parking lot to provide additional parking, and installation of lights.

During Millsboro Pond ramp closure, DNREC recommends using Ingrams Pond near Millsboro. It includes a boat ramp and is a nearby, alternate fishing location during the closure.
