DOVER — The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for overnight hours into Thursday morning in Central and Southern Delaware.

The advisory listed inland Kent and Sussex counties and beach communities, starting at midnight and ending at 10 a.m. Thursday.

“A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile,” a statement from forecasters said. “If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.”
