Downtown Milford, Inc. to feature upcoming Third Thursday events

Downtown Milford, Inc. is offering up two nights of fun this week in Milford. 

Third Thursday will coincide with the Community Parade on the third Wednesday, Oct. 16th.   Shops will stay open late and the community will enjoy the parade along Walnut Streets beginning at 6:30 p.m. 

Thursday, Oct. 17th will offer a special guest speaker hosted by the Chronicle and an opening reception for “PURE” at Gallery 37.  

The Chronicle will host Dr. Bridget Amory, director of student learning for the Milford School District.  She has been with the Milford School District for the last five years and in her current position for the last two years.  Dr. Amory will be at The Chronicle’s office, 37A N. Walnut Street, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Gallery 37 will be hosting the “PURE” Drawing Show in support of the Mispillion Art League’s 2019 Big Draw Festival – Delaware.  The exhibit opening reception will be Thursday evening from 5-8 p.m. in the Small Works Gallery.  This show will represent both traditional and non-traditional mediums and subjects.
