Felton teen fatally injured Sunday in motorcycle crash

DOVER — A 17-year-old Felton boy died early Sunday afternoon in a motorcycle crash.

Dover Police spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said Ryan Bundschuh was riding a “wheelie” on a 2007 Kawasaki ZX6 at approximately 12:39 p.m. when the accident occurred.

He was thrown off the motorcycle after it hit a curb and a pole was struck, police said.

A friend immediately called 911 following the crash. Bundschuh was taken to Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital in Dover, where he died from injuries suffered in the crash.

The incident took place on Garrison Oak Drive in the Garrison Oak Technology/Business Park off White Oak Road.
Police said Monday that investigation was ongoing.
