First State hosting presentation on help to pay heating bill

GEORGETOWN – After this week’s frigid arctic blast, and another drop in temperatures coming next week, Delawareans may find they need some help paying their bills to keep the heat on this winter.

On Monday, Feb. 4, U.S. Sen. Tom Carper will team up with First State Community Action Agency, Catholic Charities, Delmarva Power, Chesapeake Utilities and the Salvation Army to highlight home heating assistance that is available to Delawareans in need.

Community members are invited to attend from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at First State Community Action Agency’s Georgetown location at 308 N. Railroad Ave.
