Mr. Weiford, 21 at the time, was arrested without incident at the scene at 1760 N. DuPont Highway after Dover Police were called at 11:28 a.m. Ms. Buckler was found dead in a motel room with a single gunshot wound to the upper body, authorities said.

• Lisa M. Wagaman, 30, of Dover, Raymond Ward, 28, of Felton, and Brett A. Scott, 25, of Wyoming, were all charged in the shooting death of 21-year-old Dequan T. “Day Day” Dukes at the Pine Grove Apartments in Dover on June 27.

Police alleged that the trio attempted to rob Mr. Dukes, who exchanged gunfire with Mr. Scott and was mortally wounded at approximately 8:48 p.m. Mr.

Brett A. Scott

Scott was shot multiple times, according to authorities. A plan was allegedly in place to rob Mr. Dukes of illegal drugs and cash, police said in an arrest affidavit.

An autopsy at the state medical examiner’s office in Wilmington found the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the chest in a homicide, authorities said in papers.

Other indicted charges included first-degree attempted robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and second-degree conspiracy.

Don R. Martinez

• Don R. Martinez, 34, of Dover, was charged with the death of Kevin M. King, 36, of Milford, on July 1 at 12:49 a.m.. Police alleged that the men had a physical altercation at the Silver Lake Estates Apartment Complex and Mr. Martinez allegedly fired a 9mm handgun that struck Mr. King.

According to police at the time, Mr. Martinez reportedly drove Mr. King from the scene in a vehicle, which was later found abandoned near Del. 10 in Dover with a deceased Mr. King inside. Delaware State Police took Mr. Martinez into custody near the vehicle.

A 31-year-old man was also struck by gunfire during the incident, police said, was treated at Bayhealth-Milford Hospital and released.
