Killens Pond Road improvements to continue causing closures through mid-May

Intersection improvements began last month at Route 14/Milford-Harrington Highway at Killens Pond Road and Deep Grass Land in Harrington.

The project consists of placing a channelizing island in the intersection to better delineate traffic movements as well as drainage improvements required by the placement of that island, according to DelDOT.

Pending weather, the project will run through mid-May, closing the area from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. daily.

For detours, take the following routes:

From North to South: Motorists will take Carpenter Bridge Road to Route 15/Canterbury Road onto Route 14/Milford-Harrington Highway.
