Milford seeks community support for Ladybug Music Festival

Downtown Milford, Inc. will welcome back The Ladybug Music Festival for the 2nd Annual event on Saturday, September 21, 2019 and the organization is seeking the community’s help to make it happen!  The largest celebration of women in music, this award-winning, all-ages, free block party concert is organized by DMI and Gable Music Ventures.

DMI wants to make “Milford” synonymous with Music Festivals in Southern Delaware and the funds raised during this campaign will help the organization build on last year’s success to do just that.  The goal of The Ladybug Music Festival is to provide women an outlet to show off their remarkable talents, but a positive side effect is a one-day economic boost to Milford’s Downtown and its’ faithful merchants.  The visibility this type of event can provide is paramount to the economic growth of the City.

At 15 venues throughout Downtown, 30+ musical acts representing all genres of music will perform with bands comprised of all female groups or groups featuring female leads.  Last year’s Festival brought over 3,000 people to the streets, stores and restaurants of Milford and in order to bring the event back to Milford, DMI is seeking community support.  Fundraising to pay for production costs, artists’ fees, and advertising is needed to make the event another smashing success.  Please consider supporting this Art Town and Home Town event – all contributions, large and small, will be greatly appreciated!

Please remember to mark your calendar and join the fun on Saturday, September 21.  Milford welcomes you!
