Nominations sought for 2018 Georgetown Volunteer of the Year

Debra Jones , honored as Georgetown’s 2017 Volunteer of the Year, has the honor of turning on the lights for the Christmas tree on The Circle.

GEORGETOWN – The town of Georgetown mayor and council are currently accepting letters of recommendation for 2018 Volunteer of the Year.

Nominees should be residents of the Georgetown community who have demonstrated exceptional volunteer commitment during the past year.

Nomination letters must include a supporting explanation on how the nominee has displayed significant volunteer contributions.

The deadline is Friday, Nov. 23.
