Scouts help stock Lake Forest Church Association Food Pantry in Harrington

Boy Scout Troop and Cub Pack 534 and their leaders completed their annual food drive last week helping keep the Lake Forest Church Association Food Pantry in Harrington stocked and ready for the holidays.

Scouts set out bags for residents to fill up starting Nov. 9. They picked the bags up on Nov. 17, according to Carol Kalinofsi of the food pantry.

“They not only do this, but they stay when they deliver to the pantry to shelve the items they’ve collected. A great group of young men,” she added.

The pantry is located at 102 Dorman St. in Harrington, next to the Harrington Police Department.
