DOVER — Three candidates will vie for an open 1st District seat on Dover City Council during a special election that will be contested Tuesday.
Rachel Dunning, Matthew Lindell and Ronald Poliquin are in the race as the special election will take place between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Voters can cast their votes at The Elks Lodge #1903 (entrance at the rear of the building) at 200 Saulsbury Road in Dover.
The election is to fill the seat left vacant when Jim Hosfelt was voted in as a commissioner for Kent County Levy Court in a special election on March 21.
