Suspect sought in Middletown gas station robbery

MIDDLETOWN — Police are seeking Middletown resident Tyree Hollingsworth after an alleged robbery at the Valero gas station at 38 E. Main Street on Jan. 14, authorities said.

Pending charges include first-degree robbery, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, aggravated menacing, offensive touching and possession of a deadly weapon by a person prohibited.

Middletown Police asked anyone with information on Mr. Hollingsworth’s whereabouts to call 376-9950, or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333. Tips can be placed online at www.middletownde.org/Crime-Tip-Line.
