Three Md. residents indicted in Firefly drug case

DOVER — Three Maryland residents were indicted on drug charges last week related to their stay at the Firefly Music Festival in June.

Dover Police said Sykseville residents Jason S. Campion, 26, and Jared D. Specht, 28, were arrested after allegedly selling drugs to an undercover officer, along with Nottingham resident Sonja N. Rodriguez, 40.

At the time of the arrests on June 17 in Camping Lot 2 at Dover Speedway at 5:28 p.m., police said 70.6 grams of cocaine, 58.2 grams of MDMA, 7 capsules of bathsalts, 1.2 grams of marijuana, 2 doses of LSD and 9,838 cash were recovered.

Mr. Campion and Ms. Rodriguez were earch indicted on drug dealing and aggravated possession charges, along with second-degree conspiracy and possession of drug paraphernalia (listed as a digital scale in papers).

In a separate indictment, Mr. Specht was charged with drug dealing, possession of drug paraphernalia (plastic bags), and aggravated possession.

The trio was initially held by the Delaware Department of Correction on cash bonds following their arrests.
