Tulip time

DOVER — Red tulips, planted in the Daughters of the American Revolution garden on the west side of Legislative Mall, peer upward at the Old Statehouse in the first photo.

Around the City of Dover, there are a multitude of colorful tulips in full bloom.

Shown are tulips along Loockerman Street, near City Hall, the Dover Public Library, the Post Office, and the triangle at Kings Highway and State Street.

Today’s weather should be nice for a walk around the city. The tulips may not be illuminated by the sun, however, as skies will be mostly cloudy. The high will be near 77 degrees.
