LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Sound judgment has never been Hillary Clinton’s strong suit

Regardless of the anti-Trump dossier, questionable FISA warrants and dueling Democrat/Republican memos, Hillary Rodham Clinton is not the POTUS. Let us count the ways she did not complete her path to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. beginning with her latest lament of her troublesome comments (one of many) made to disclose her weak, erroneous response concerning her 2008 senior campaign adviser Burns Strider by issuing a slap on the wrist when upon learning that Mr. Strider had been accused by a Clinton female campaign staffer that inappropriate, unsolicited sexual harassment charges had been voiced in 2007.

Madame Clinton demoted him, docked his salary, required counseling (any counselors utilized by President Clinton didn’t work!) and finally the stern warning if any other such occurrences happened, he would be removed from the campaign. Other campaign officials wisely advised her that he should have been immediately terminated but HRC believes in second chances. How many did she give to her husband? Far too many to count!

From their earliest days at the Governor’s mansion in Little Rock, Arkansas to the Oval Office in Washington, D.C., she never appeared to heed those dangerous, implied warnings. The Clinton Dynamic Duo rolled right along. HRC’s plan to become the first woman president of The United States was always on their personal agendas disregarding any personal improprieties. With all the power of the Clinton cartel, how could she lose?

A funny thing happened on the way to the White House. Her disastrous past kept surfacing sabotaging her well-planned prospects. As Secretary of State during the Obama Administration she had made so many dangerous, damaging decisions to America — e.g., Benghazi caused the deaths of four brave Americans, including her “so-called” friend, U.S. Ambassador to Libya, Christopher Stevens, U.S. Foreign Services Information Manager, Sean Smith, CIA contractors Tyrone S. Woods and Glen Doherty and ten others who were wounded. Men who bravely fought in a losing effort suffered and overrun by well-organized terrorists. After this tragedy she blamed it all on a video.

Interestingly, another problem e-mail was immediately sent to her daughter Chelsea advising that it, indeed, was a pre-planned terrorist operation. However, in HRC’s mind, the “video” explanation would remain the public proclamation. Truth has always eluded the Clinton mind.

Hillary’s ultimate goal of the presidency was her highest priority. Truth be damned. Unfortunately, the American electoral college dashed those presidential dreams. Her beloved, philandering husband WJC strongly encouraged her to visit those questionable states who held those critical electoral college votes prior to the election. She scoffed at that prudent advice.

The man had run this presidential race before and knew the potholes a candidate may encounter. She was assured by all those trustworthy polls stating that she was a shoe-in to become the first woman POTUS. Unfortunately, she only resembled one of Cinderella’s stepsisters. The shoe just did not nor ever would fit.

Following the unexpected 2016 presidential results, she now had ample time to author her fairy tale literary tome “What Happened”. Quite the best seller. All fairy tales usually are successful. The answer to her question would be answered by taking a long, hard look in the mirror. The cold, hard truth would have hit her like a Category 5 Hurricane. However, knowing how HRC views her life, it was always someone else’s fault.

Still playing the blame game, she names all those sources for her loss. Jim Comey, who was her savior in July 2016 and the devil incarnate in October 2016, those unaccountable, mysteriously removed e-mails, questions covering the Clinton Foundation’s funding activities constantly countered by Clinton denials of every harmful act performed but defended by the Clintons. The final nail in the presidential coffin was voted on by the “deplorables” on Nov. 8, 2016.

John Steinbeck was correct, The “best-laid plans of mice and men” should have been a guideline in the Clinton world. Americans can count our blessings that Madame “C” never made her residence in the White House. Her dream would have fast become America’s nightmare.

May God always bless the United States of America.
