Letter to the Editor: Anything else is irrelevant

The Commentary by M. Jane Brady, (“Separating fact from fiction in impeachment,” Oct. 4) as the voice of the Delaware Republicans, tried to muddy the waters of the impeachment inquiry with irrelevant material. Donald Trump is in the crosshairs, no one else. In a telephone conversation, Trump first reminded the new president of Ukraine, Zeletsky how very, very good the U.S. has been to them.

Then Trump asks for a little favor: investigate Joe Biden. Quid pro quo. What makes it impeachable is that it is against the laws of this country to do that. A president can’t ask a foreign leader for help with a personal problem. That’s it. Anything else is irrelevant.
