Letter to the Editor: Great help with litter

Within a few days of contact with the Boys Scout Council, two young men, Austin and Chris Johns from Troop 239, called and showed up to take care of the litter in their own development.

The past few windy weeks have caused a very large amount of litter to fly out of the recycling bins and to land over the berm between the Twin Willows Development and the fencing between there and route 1. The unsightly mess could not be seen behind the berm by the neighbors, but was a horrible scene behind the retention pond that delights the neighbors and the birds.

Thank you to the scouts for their caring for their neighborhood and the scenery in Delaware.

Their parents should be proud of their sons for their quick actions and good spirits.
