LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Library alternatives

Mr. Schell, I read your opinion letter [Feb 22] “Kent County library not going the book”.

First of all, you could be in the rural part of the country where everything closes at 8 o’clock at night and there is no library to be found. Why don’t you visit the city library in Dover where it is two floors and more cell noise and stupid things going on that should not be occurring?

If there is an issue with people on their cell phones, bring it to the attention of the library director.

As for the holidays, most libraries, whether city or county, have holiday schedules that are posted on their web sites or in print.

If you don’t want to deal with all that, get yourself a home PC and internet access, you won’t have to deal with it then.
