Letter to the Editor: Politics and religion

The page 1 story on Sunday (Oct. 28) “Gunman attacks Pittsburgh synagogue, killing 11 people,” was misleading, and needed editing.

In the fifth paragraph, the AP authors of the story made misleading linkage of the synagogue attack to the pipe bomb attacks earlier in the week.

Even at the time of their writing the story, it was obvious that one wacko was politically motivated while the other was shouting anti-Semitic phrases during the attack. Politics? Religion? Where’s the connection?

It is incumbent on Delaware State News editors to take action when AP stories have obvious errors.
