I am writing this letter as support to re-elect Betty Lou McKenna as the Kent County Recorder of Deeds. She has been relentlessly and responsibly working and especially advocating for the local government and its citizens since 1962.

Thanks to the leadership of Betty Lou, much of Kent County’s history, let alone the state’s, has been preserved due to the digitization of all the Recorder of Deeds records. She has and continues to encourage the streamlining and transparency of transactions and utilizes the latest technology available to ensure accountability and accuracy such as e-recording.

She as well as her staff are highly competent and dedicated to serving the people of Kent County. Kent County needs this kind of leadership and stewardship.

Your vote for Betty Lou McKenna on Nov. 6 will ensure the continuation of service excellence at the Kent County Recorder of Deeds Office.
