LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Time for Congress to work together

It is about time that the House and the Senate put on their big boys and girls pants and work together to come up with an immigration bill.

I am sick and tired of hearing the Democrats and some Republicans saying they won’t vote on any bill that the GOP puts forth, but they do not offer anything better.

We as taxpayers are paying their salaries to work for the American citizens of this country. If we didn’t do our work at our offices, we would be fired!

I think term limits should be brought up in the next elections, as we are not getting the best bang for our hard-earned dollars.

I am also sick of the Trump bashing by the mainstream media, especially about the detaining of immigrant children. They better look back to 2010, 2011 and 2014 when Mr. Obama spoke about immigration and the detention of minors.

Where was the shock and uproar when he was doing the same as President Trump? Just following the laws that were constitutional as Mr. Obama put it!
