Letter to the Editor: Mail-in ballot signature requirements

Please remind voters that signing their ballots means signing the outside of the return envelopes.

Voters will not sign the ballot itself. By signing the outside envelope, election workers can verify your signature with their poll records. The actual ballot does not request a signature.

Your ballot will be anonymous. This information should be reiterated whenever information regarding mail-in ballots is discussed.
