Top House Democrats on Sunday raised the prospect of impeachment or almost-certain prison time for President Donald Trump if it’s proved that he directed illegal hush-money payments to women.

• As long as there is established and corroborated evidence that he was involved in the crime(s). Only problem being that there will have to be enough GOP senators who will place country above party when weighing the evidence. — Brian P. Slattery

• In the words of liberals yes yes yes that means we get Hillary as our president, not realizing Pence will be their worst nightmare ever. Pence will pardon Trump on all the phony charges, make Trump vice president. Pence resigns. Trump becomes president again and appoints pence vice president again. They have neither one finish out their term so that means Trump can run in 2020 and 2024 and 2028. — Robert Blockston

• Well if you want a full scale revolution, one the left can’t win, go ahead. — Steven Howard

• It’s never going to happen. Obama had much worse campaign finance issues and only got a fine. — Greg Sheraton

• Prepare for more cognitive dissonance when they realize this won’t work either. — Sean Bostic

• They have no more evidence of any crime today then they had a year ago. All they have is associates committing paper crimes years ago. And everyone knows about the payoff to the stripper. — Bob Hice

• So, since everyone knows about the payoff to the stripper, then it’s no longer illegal? First, Individual 1 committed a crime. It’s called election fraud. If it had been known that Individual 1 had affairs, he may have not won the election. Therefore, by keeping them silent, he got elected by fraudulent means, which means he is a fake president. He is a criminal. He only hired the “best” criminals to work on his campaign. Every week, new evidence comes to light that he had/has business interests in Russia and some of his campaign officials, Individual 1 Jr., and Individual 1 son-in-law has/had connections to Putin’s inner circle. How you can be so blind to the evidence is beyond comprehension. Is it because you don’t want to see it or because you don’t want to believe it? — Gary Greer
