Speak Out: Little Heaven project

Elected officials, project team members and Delaware Department of Transportation Secretary Jennifer Cohan celebrated the opening of now-completed Del. 1 Little Heaven Grade Separated Intersection project with a late morning ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday.

• Let’s celebrate getting something done before we do it and after ward stick shovels in the ground and news conference after. Stay in your office and work instead of breaking your arm patting yourself on the back. I start a job and finish a job and get back to work. Wasteful spending and posturing at its finest! — Terry Duffy

• I see no lighter traffic at all. Ridiculous waste of tax money for out-of-staters. — Jayne Muchler Dick

• Waste of money. Didn’t help at all. If it helped, then why is traffic backed up to Milford on weekends?? They don’t want to admit they wasted the money! Go back to your office and actually do something that is going to help the state instead of wasting money! — Amber Brummitt

• I live in Magnolia just at the Frederica line on Clapham Road and this has been a nightmare for residents. And traffic is still at gridlock in summer. — Mandi Mendoza

• When are they going to tear it up again to put in the toll booth? — Bob Robinson
