Speak Out: Mueller Report released

Readers reacted to the release of the Muller Report this week:

• When you spend millions of taxpayer dollars and stack the deck with pro-Hillary investigators trying to impeach a duly elected president only to have the report expose the many crimes Democrats likely committed. Time to investigate the investigators and the Democrats who kept pushing this known lie. — Shawn Knox

• Absolutely no collusion!! (Which is why there was a special council) May have been some obstruction, but does not rise to the level of a crime. Time to move on. The American people will not see what has been redacted, so they can not say one way or the other about this. The Democrats think that if they read the report that they can come to a different conclusion. The investigation was heavily stacked against Trump and yet they could not come up with enough evidence to press charges. Time to move on!! There are a lot more pressing issues that America is facing than re-trying this witch hunt. Please, call your representatives in D.C. and tell them to move on. — Kevin McCarthy

• “May have been some obstruction, but does not rise to the level of a crime” is a false narrative. Regarding obstruction, the Mueller report states: “The conclusion that Congress may apply the obstruction laws to the President’s corrupt exercise of the powers of office accords with our constitutional system of checks and balances and the principle that no person is above the law.” Time to move on, indeed … to Congress! — Gary Greer

• How can you obstruct justice when the “crime” being investigated was a sham from the start and never took place? And since when does Congress have anything to do with that decision? It’s the attorney general’s decision and it’s been made period. Case closed, move on to the next hoax because that’s about all the left does these days! — Tommy Smith

• OK Democrats you wasted enough time and taxpayers’ money. Now maybe you guys could actually do something positive for our country. — Stephen Terrance Herd

• They tried and failed to find evidence of obstruction. That’s what the report bottom line is. If they had found obstruction they would have stated so. — Maureen McCartan Harris

• This secured a blue wave again. All three branches will be controlled by Democrats. — Deeps Ramit

• Trump is a criminal and Mueller’s report shows that because others refused to act as criminals! Karma will catch up with him! — Douglas Mastin

• The Democrats are as brokenhearted as they were on Nov 9, 2016. Their fantasy world has collapsed and they can’t accept reality. — Jim Price

• There are 12 investigations left. Mueller’s report is chapter one. I think Mueller did a great job. If you think Trump has escaped justicem you better think again. And, maybe you should read the report again. Quit listening to Barr. He lied!! The Mueller report says the opposite of Barr’ s lie. — Eddie B Smith

• If you haven’t read the whole 400 page report yourself, you shouldn’t be commenting. — Allen Parnell
