Delaware Outdoor Expo event features exhibits and giveaways

HARRINGTON — With close to 50 exhibitors, the Delaware Outdoor Expo offers something for every outdoor enthusiast.

This event is returning to the Delaware State Fairgrounds in Harrington 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 10.

The expo will include a variety of outdoor exhibits for those interested in hunting, fishing, hiking and more.

The exhibitors will have giveaway items and information to share, plus they will each be providing a door prize including gift cards, apparel, hunting and fishing supplies, and a camping stay at one of the Delaware State Parks.

The Sharptown, Maryland, Lions Club will also be offering raffle tickets to win a Polaris ATV.

The schedule for the day will include demonstrations on several different topics from dog training by Eugenia Thornton and her award-winning dog Dolly to turkey calling and hunting by Charles Messina of Competition Game Calls.

Rich King from will be on hand to swap stories and share his expertise on Delaware surf fishing. King is a local surf fishing expert, social media celebrity and Outdoors columnist for the Delaware State News.

Be sure to bring the kids to enjoy the family-friendly demonstrations and lots of fun activities and games. Plus, there will be food trucks onsite to make sure that you don’t leave hungry.

The Delaware State News is presenting the Delaware Outdoor Expo along with sponsors Baker’s Power & Turf/Husqvarna Group from Millsboro and the Delaware Solid Waste Authority.
