Dover’s Bubniak appearing in national commercial

Caesar Rodney High School graduate John Bubniak is adding to his acting resume by appearing in a commercial for Dairy Queen now airing in the United States and Canada. It is part of series with three more ads to come.

Mr. Bubniak, who has appeared in the TV shows “Girls” and “Grey’s Anatomy,” plays a slow-witted DQ employee named Todd as his crew gets ready to sell the “DQ Five-Buck Lunch.”

He has been living in Hollywood in 2013 after a stint in New York City. He has also been a model and appeared in a video for The Lumineers’ song “Cleopatra” along with other national commercials.

In addition, he is wrapping a movie that he can’t talk about right now but he says he will spill the details soon.
