Ivray L. Sauls Jr was charged with: Strangulation, Assault 3rd Degree, and Terroristic Threatening, said state police spokesman Sgt. Richard Bratz.

According to state police, the incident occurred at approximately 6 p.m., Friday, April 26 and reported Sunday at a residence in the 11000 block of Abbys Way, Bridgeville.

State police investigation revealed Ivray Sauls Jr. confronted his 57-year-old girlfriend about their relationship in an aggressive and threatening manner. After she refused to speak to him, Sauls became upset and slammed his hands down on the kitchen counter and grasped the victim by the throat which restricted her breathing, Sgt. Bratz said.
