Camden man charged in arson investigation

DOVER — The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office said it arrested a 20-year-old Camden man in connection with an alleged arson fire on June 25, authorities said.

The fire was reported just after 10:30 a.m. in the unit block of Wooded Way, in the Woods Edge Mobile Home Park, south of Dover, the FMO said. The Camden- Wyoming Fire Company responded to the call and arrived with heavy fire involving an unoccupied manufactured home. The fire was quickly brought under control with no injuries reported, authorities said.

Deputy Fire Marshals responded to the scene to conduct an investigation into the cause of the fire. Investigators determined the fire to be intentionally set with damages estimated at $40,000.

An arrest warrant was obtained for Dorian T. Murray, authorities said, and he surrendered without incident on June 28.
Charges included second-degree arson and second-degree burglary. Mr. Murray was arraigned through Justice of the Peace Court and released after posting a $10,000 secured bond, authorities said.
