Community assist brings Smyrna burglary arrest

SMYRNA — An 18-year-old Smyrna man was charged with a burglary following a daytime break-in on March 12, authorities said.

According to Smyrna Police spokesman Master Cpl. Brian Donner, several residents provided witness statements and home surveillance footage was used to locate Brian Sadler. The alleged incident took place in the 300 block of East Frazier Street.

Mr. Sadler was charged with second-degree burglary. He was arraigned via video court in Justice of the Peace Court 2 in Rehoboth Beach and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown in lieu of $5,000 cash bond.
