HARRINGTON — A 41-year-old Harrington woman was arrested on a misdemeanor offensive touching charge after an alleged incident at Shining Stars Academy on Feb. 24, authorities said.

Harrington Police alleged that Leona M. Miller was involved in a confrontation with the daycare’s former owner who was gathering some belongings at around 4 p.m.

No children witnessed the alleged incident, police said.

Police were called to the scene a woman had suffered a minor injury and refused medical treatment, authorities said.

The business is located in the Midway Shopping Center on U.S. 13.
