DOC seeks Dover man after walkaway

Kyree Robinson

DOVER — A 21-year-old Dover man is sought after failing to return to Morris Community Correctional Center from an approved job seeking pass.

The Delaware Department of Correction said Kyree Robinson’s whereabouts were unknown and unauthorized. A warrant for escape after conviction was issued.

Robinson was described as a 5-foot-7, 160-pound black male with brown eyes and black hair, with tattoos on his arms. His original offense was violation of probation for a second-degree assault, DOC spokeswoman Kate Weber said.

Anyone with information was asked to call (800) 542-9524 or their local police department.

Community Corrections Centers are Level 4 facilities where the Department of Correction manages offenders who are transitioning back into the community. These centers are not secured like Level 5 prisons, as offenders are permitted to the leave the facility to go to work, seek jobs, or attend approved treatment sessions.
