Dover man arrested on drug charges

DOVER — A wanted 31-year-old Dover man was arrested on numerous drug charges following an alleged traffic violation Tuesday afternoon, Dover Police said.

Marcus Bolden was taken into custody without incident at 3:33 p.m., authorities said, and found to have a capias out of Kent County Court of Common Pleas.

Police said 3.7 grams of crack cocaine, 6 grams of cocaine, 70 oxycodone tablets, 47 grams of marijuana, and $477 in suspected drug proceeds were also located.

Police said Mr. Bolden was staying at the Relax Inn at 640 S. DuPont Highway.

A search warrant was conducted by Dover Police, Delaware Probation and Parole, and the First State Fugitive Task Force who located 62.2 grams crack cocaine, 23.3 grams cocaine, 273 bags of heroin, 21.5 doses of Ecstasy, 628.8 grams of marijuana, paraphernalia, $3,777 cash and 9mm ammunition, police said.

Mr. Bolden was committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center near Smyrna in default of $42,300 secured and $126,200 cash bonds.

Possession charges included with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, with intent to deliver Oxycodone, Ecstasy, heroin, intent to deliver heroin, marijuana intent to deliver marijuana and ammunition by person prohibited, along with ammunition by person prohibited.
