Dover man wanted in connection with assault

DOVER – Delaware State Police are requesting assistance in locating Woodly N. Clairvoyant, 27, of Dover, who is wanted for second-degree felony assault and terroristic threatening.

Delaware State Police spokesman Sgt. Richard Bratz said a preliminary investigation revealed the incident occurred Sunday at 2 a.m. as troopers were dispatched to a fight in progress at the Dover Estates at 51 Webbs Lane, Dover.

Upon arrival it was learned the suspect was walking through the parking lot of the apartment complex when the victim pulled into the parking lot. Both exchanged words and an argument ensued with the suspect allegedly grabbing a concealed object and subsequently stabbing the victim on the upper extremity.

During the assault, Sgt. Bratz said Mr. Clairvoyant threatened to kill the victim. The suspect then fled the area. No other injuries were reported.

The victim was transported by EMS to a local hospital and treated for the serious injury. Warrants were obtained for Mr. Clairvoyant through the Justice of the Peace Court 7.

He is described as a black male, approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing 145 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
