DOVER — A 23-year-old Magnolia man was tracked down and located by a Dover Police K9 after the suspect allegedly robbed My Roma Pizza at 1008 Lafferty Lane on Friday afternoon, according to Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman, spokesman for the Dover police.

Master Cpl. Hoffman said that around 3:24 p.m. on Friday, the suspect, Radames Guzman, entered the pizza place and displayed what appeared to be a black handgun and demanded money.

The suspect ran away after the robbery and the Dover Police Patrol Unit established a perimeter to find him.

K9 Gerome tracked Mr. Guzman’s path and found some of his clothing in a wooded area along with a black BB gun.

The dog eventually found the suspect, who was apprehended without incident by patrol officers.

Mr. Guzman was charged with first-degree robbery and wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony.

Bond information was not available at the time of his release.
