Dover rape suspect arrested, extradition pending

DOVER — A Dover rape suspect was arrested in Maryland Thursday and extradition is pending as he remains in custody, Dover Police said.

Isaac Pierce was found living out of his vehicle on a farm in Princess Anne County, Maryland when arrested by the United States Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force and the First State Fugitive Task Force, police said.

Dover Police earlier investigated an alleged incident on Sept. 16 in the 600 block of Ridgely Street, authorities said.

Charges included two counts of first-degree rape, second-degree kidnap, strangulation, first-degree assault and terroristic threatening.
